Our millefiori slices are imported from the world renowned  Effetre  factory in Murano, Italy.   Murano Millefiori  stocks the traditional millefiori slices (raw cut, no pre-drilled holes) as well as the more unusual ones such as swirls, stars, squares and other designs!  All of our millefiori is made in Murano and is COE 104.  All are compatible with Moretti Rods and Moretti glass.We hand-pick new designs right at the factory and add new ones every 3 months.  Our assortments and color paks are custom blended and cannot be found anywhere else.  We offer more single color & design selections as well!   We try to keep our retail prices as low as possible and regularly offer many selected styles on sale.  We love this beautiful product!

Tints-All© Universal Colorant

Grout & Adhesive Tint

 I love these tints!  Now, instead of buying and storing numerous colors of grout I only need white.  In addition,  when using smalti or millefiori,  tinting white thin-set serves as both adhesive and grout (see tutorial).

Tints-All© is a  lead free colorant that will tint any paint  - latex, alkyd, oil base, acrylic, or  polyvinyl;  cement, concrete, grout,  thin-set and tile mastic.  The colors are concentrated, saturated and very rich – a little goes a long way!  ( in addition,  it will also tint carpet, clothing, acrylic nails and small children – so use caution).

Each color tint can produce endless variations!  You can achieve any color from light pastels to rich saturated tones.  Note: true reds are the hardest to achieve with Tints-All.  Lipstick red grout is available through Home Depot’s Polyblend brand.

Tints-All© is suitable for exterior use, except for 3 colors (all red based).  Because these are in liquid form there is no risk of breathing harmful dust.  It works equally well in sanded and un-sanded grout and thin-set as well as tile mastic. 

If you are not completing your project in one step I recommend that you measure the material you are tinting as well as how much tint you add so these steps can be repeated (ie., 3 drops tint to ½ cup mastic, etc.).  It is a good idea to have the “fleck white” on hand in case you go too dark.  It is better to lighten with the white colorant than with more of the base material.

Before using shake well, gently massage tube and shake again.

Variations in size, color and thickness of all glass products are to be expected (some are opaque, opaque with some transparency,  or totally transparent).  Because these are difficult to photograph, clear transparent may appear white in the catalog or the background color on-line.

The catalog represents the most popular designs made by Effetre, however, they do not have all of them available all the time.  We order whatever is available but not in every size.  Please let us know what you need and we will try to get it for you.  When we visit the factory often we can  acquire designs not in the catalog at all.  

 For this reason our offerings are ever-changing and, in all cases, may be limited in quantity.  Be sure to
order all you need or want.  Since millefiori is not returnable or exchangeable,  we happily provide free single  samples so you can make sure you will like it.  We cannot backorder - please do not order if it says 'OUT'.
